About

Amerzone is a first-person point-and-click adventure built around 360-degree panoramic exploration. You navigate over 200 interconnected locations, solving roughly 50 puzzles to progress through environments designed by Benoît Sokal. The setup: a mythical White Bird egg has vanished, cursing a tribe and threatening wider consequences. Your task is retrieving this artifact by piecing together clues across jungle ruins, abandoned structures, and other remote sites. Interaction works through hotspot clicking—examine objects, combine inventory items, trigger environmental changes. The 360-degree view means you rotate in place at each node rather than freely walking, similar to pre-rendered adventure games from the late '90s. Puzzle difficulty leans environmental and inventory-based rather than reflex-driven. If you're drawn to slow-paced exploration where progress hinges on noticing details in static scenes, this fits that mold.
