Life sim where you settle into a village populated by animal neighbors, with time passing in sync with the real world. You decorate your house, catch bugs and fish, plant flowers, and chat with residents who have their own personalities and schedules. The DS touch screen handles inventory sorting and letter writing with stylus taps instead of button menus. Seasons change as actual months pass, bringing different creatures and events. Up to three friends can visit your town wirelessly—locally or over Wi-Fi—to trade items, tour each other's homes, or just hang out. New clothing options like hats and sunglasses expand customization. No win condition means you set your own goals, whether that's completing the bug collection, paying off your mortgage, or designing custom patterns for furniture and clothes.
