Anthem is a co-op action RPG where you pilot customizable exosuits called Javelins across a hostile open world. Javelins let you fly, fight with different loadouts, and tackle missions solo or in four-player squads. The story follows a failed operation two years prior that crippled the Freelancers, then picks up as you investigate Dominion plans involving relics that can reshape reality. Loot drops improve your Javelin's gear. Combat mixes shooting, abilities tied to your suit type (Ranger, Colossus, Storm, Interceptor), and aerial mobility. Fort Tarsis serves as your hub between sorties. Expect a sci-fi setting where humanity survives in pockets while ancient machines cause environmental chaos.
