A 3D platformer where you control a bear-and-bird duo hunting collectibles across themed worlds. Banjo carries Kazooie in his backpack, and together they use 24 distinct moves—ground pounds, flight, egg-shooting—to navigate levels and fight enemies. Your goal: recover 100 jigsaw pieces (Jiggies) and 900 musical notes scattered through environments like swamps, deserts, and snowy peaks. Each Jiggy unlocks access to new worlds, while notes open doors within Gruntilda's lair, the hub connecting everything. Combat involves pecking, swiping, and projectile attacks against cartoon enemies. Levels hide secrets in hard-to-reach spots, rewarding exploration and move mastery. The witch Gruntilda has kidnapped Tooty, and reaching her requires methodical world completion. Expect backtracking as you gain abilities that unlock previously inaccessible areas.
