Blasphemous

Blasphemous is a 2D action-platformer set in Cvstodia, a land warped by a curse called The Miracle. You're The Penitent One, lone survivor of a religious massacre, stuck in a death loop you need to escape. Combat leans on precise timing and combo strings—you'll execute enemies with brutal finishing moves while dodging attacks from grotesque creatures and oversized bosses. Between fights, you explore interconnected zones hunting for relics, rosary beads, and prayers that grant new abilities or stat boosts. The world draws heavily on Catholic iconography twisted into something darker. Expect to die often while learning enemy patterns.
