Blitzkrieg 3 is a real-time strategy game built around asynchronous multiplayer. You design a base with defensive structures and unit placements, then AI defends it when you're offline. Other players attack your setup while you're away; successful defenses earn resources to expand your base or buy new units. You also raid other players' bases in real time. The game includes single-player campaigns covering multiple World War II factions, which unlock rewards usable in multiplayer. Base development progresses between matches—you're upgrading fortifications, positioning troops, and planning layouts that hold up without your direct control. It's structured so defense and offense happen on different schedules. If you want RTS where preparation matters as much as execution, this delivers that loop.
