Blood on the Clocktower
Blood on the Clocktower is a social deduction game for 5-20 players plus a storyteller, playable in person or online. Each player gets a character token showing whether they're good or evil. Good players share information to identify and execute the demon hiding among them. Evil players lie, mislead, and pick off villagers at night. The good team wins by killing the demon; evil wins by eliminating enough villagers to secure majority control. Characters have distinct abilities that create asymmetric information—some see alignments, others learn how players died, a few can protect or redirect kills. The storyteller moderates, resolves night actions, and keeps dead players engaged through limited continued participation. Rounds alternate between night (secret evil actions) and day (public discussion and voting). Success requires reading people, tracking claims, and parsing contradictory testimony.
