About

Burning Fight is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up where you pick one of three cops—Duke, Billy, or Ryu—and punch through a Japanese crime syndicate's street-level enforcers. The setup: two NYPD detectives travel to Japan, team up with a local martial artist, and work their way toward the bosses. Gameplay centers on close-quarters brawling with standard punches, kicks, and throws across multi-screen stages filled with thugs. You'll fight through urban environments, clearing waves of enemies before facing end-of-level bosses. It's built for arcade quarters: short levels, tight combat windows, and rising difficulty that demands pattern recognition. Expect minimal story between fights—this is about reflexes and crowd control, not narrative depth. If you want straightforward '90s arcade action without complex systems, it delivers exactly that.
