Burnout

Burnout is an arcade racer built around reckless driving and spectacular wrecks. You earn boost by threading through traffic at high speeds, drafting opponents, and driving into oncoming lanes—the riskier your move, the faster you go. Crashes aren't failures here; they're physics-driven spectacles where cars crumple and tumble in slow motion. Races reward aggression over clean laps, so you're constantly gambling whether one more risky pass will fill your boost meter or send you into a barrier. The handling sits between simulation and pure arcade, tight enough that threading gaps feels earned but forgiving enough to encourage wild stunts.
