Chronology is a puzzle-platformer where you swap between two time periods to progress. You control an elderly inventor and his snail companion, switching between them to use their distinct abilities. The inventor can rewind time to alter the environment, while the snail can pause it entirely. Levels require you to manipulate objects in one era so they're positioned differently in the other—plant a seed in the past, it's a climbable tree in the future. You'll toggle between timelines to create paths, trigger mechanisms, and reach exits. The dual-character setup means some puzzles need coordinated moves: snail holds a platform steady while the inventor crosses. It's about recognizing cause-and-effect chains across decades rather than quick reflexes.
