Codename: Panzers - Phase One is a World War II real-time strategy game where you command tanks, infantry, and aircraft across European campaigns. You control individual units directly—tanks take damage from specific hits, and losing a vehicle mid-battle means adjusting tactics on the fly. Between missions, you spend prestige points earned from objectives to requisition reinforcements, upgrade equipment, or repair damaged units you want to carry forward. Multiplayer offers four maps with destructible terrain. The training mode walks through each unit type's capabilities, from bombers to ground troops, useful if you haven't played tactical RTS games before. The focus is on preserving veteran units rather than mass-producing disposable armies.
