Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends

Touch-screen cooking sim where you prepare 80 recipes by completing stylus-based minigames. Each dish breaks down into steps—chop vegetables, mix ingredients, flip pancakes—controlled via timed motions on the DS screen. Mama guides you through each task, then scores your performance out of 100 with a medal. Mess up a step and you'll get a cracked silver medal instead of gold. Bonuses don't affect your final score this time; they stack as stars that unlock extras after every five collected. The core loop: pick a recipe, execute its chain of minigames, get graded, repeat. Works for players who like methodical task completion more than open-ended creativity.
