Cyberbots is a 2D fighting game where giant mechs replace traditional fighters. You pick a pilot, then build your mech from modular parts—legs determine movement speed, arms affect melee damage, and weapon slots let you equip guns, blades, or energy cannons. Each combination changes how your bot handles in combat. Fights play out like standard Capcom fighters: special moves via directional inputs, juggle combos, super meters. The roster includes multiple pilots whose storylines intersect across a campaign mode. You can face AI opponents through branching paths or fight head-to-head against another player. The part-swapping system means two players can pilot the same mech chassis but fight completely differently based on loadout choices. It's mech combat filtered through arcade fighter design rather than simulation.
