Death End Re;Quest

Death End Re;Quest is a turn-based RPG where you split time between a corrupted virtual reality MMORPG and the real world. Your goal: rescue someone trapped inside the game by investigating what went wrong on both sides. Combat happens in the virtual space, but staying too long corrupts your character through accumulated bug damage from enemies. The hook is a genre-mixing system—you can inject different game genres into the VR world mid-battle to unlock new tactical options and abilities. Progress requires bouncing between realities: fight and explore in the game, then return to the real world to piece together how this disaster happened. The corruption mechanic creates tension around how much time you spend inside before pulling out.
