Donkey Kong Land

Donkey Kong Land is a platformer where you jump, roll, and barrel-blast through side-scrolling levels to recover stolen bananas. You play as Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong, swapping between them depending on the stage. Each Kong has different abilities—one's stronger, the other's faster—which matters for reaching certain areas or handling specific enemies. King K. Rool's back with the banana hoard, and Cranky Kong's issued a challenge to prove the duo can handle an adventure on the Game Boy's hardware. Levels mix jungle canopy runs, mine cart rides, and underwater segments. You'll dodge enemies, find bonus rooms, and collect items across multiple worlds. It's a handheld take on the SNES formula, compressed for monochrome screens.
