Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors is a 2D fighting game built around aerial combat. You pick from 15 characters and battle in environments where movement isn't locked to a ground plane—fighters can dash, teleport, and launch attacks anywhere in the sky. Combat leans on stringing together combo chains and character-specific special moves pulled from the anime. The game includes story modes that follow DBZ arcs but let you trigger alternate outcomes based on performance. Tag team matches support two-on-two fights, and you can link two Game Boy Advance units for local versus play. Between fights, you unlock stat upgrades that boost speed, power, or energy meter size. It's straightforward fan service: recognizable faces, fast exchanges, and enough vertical space to recreate the show's signature mid-air clashes without much mechanical depth beyond that core loop.
