Enclave is a third-person action-RPG where you pick one of twelve characters split between Light and Dark factions, then fight through linear missions in a medieval fantasy setting. Light defenders include a knight, huntress, wizard, druid, engineer, and halfling; Dark invaders feature a berserker, assassin, sorceress, lich, bombardier, and goblin. Each mission chains objectives—escort someone, clear a fortress, retrieve an item—using melee weapons (swords, spears), ranged gear (bows, staffs), shields, and basic potions. Armor upgrades appear between levels. The campaign has two separate story arcs: protect the Enclave as Light or conquer it as Dark. Combat leans on positioning and weapon choice rather than deep RPG systems. Levels mix straightforward combat arenas with light environmental puzzles. It's a 2002 release, so expect dated AI and checkpoint-based structure.
