FIFA 17

FIFA 17 is a football sim built around The Journey, a story mode where you control Alex Hunter, a fictional prospect climbing through the Premier League. You'll sign with one of the league's 20 clubs, train under real managers, and play alongside actual squads from the 2016-17 season. Matches alternate with cutscenes tracking Hunter's career decisions and personal relationships. Outside The Journey, standard modes return: kick off matches, career management, and Ultimate Team card collecting. On-pitch play uses the Frostbite engine for the first time in the series, changing how stadiums and players render. If you've wanted FIFA to feel less like a menu simulator, Hunter's narrative gives matches context beyond league tables.
