Ground Control II ditches base-building and resource harvesting. You don't mine crystals or climb tech trees—you spend acquisition points to call in reinforcements via dropship. Points trickle in faster when your army's small, slower when it's bloated. Earn more by destroying enemies or capturing victory locations scattered across maps. You'll need to hold at least one landing zone to receive new units. Points also upgrade your dropships with better armor, weapons, cargo space, speed, and fuel. Set in 2741, the Northern Star Alliance fights a last-stand defense against the Terran Empire after losing the war in space. Managing your force size becomes a tactical lever: field fewer units for quicker reinforcements, or risk a large army that starves your point income. If you like RTS without the economy busywork, this focuses purely on unit composition and map control.
