Rhythm game built around Van Halen's catalog. You play guitar, bass, or drums across 25 Van Halen songs—Jump, Hot for Teacher, Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love among them—plus three Eddie Van Halen solo showcases. The setlist adds 19 tracks from other acts: Billy Idol, Foo Fighters, Blink-182. Standard Guitar Hero mechanics apply: colored notes scroll down the screen, you hit corresponding fret buttons in time with the music. Miss too many and you fail the song. Career mode lets you unlock venues and difficulty tiers. Supports four-player band mode if you've got the plastic instruments.
