Hogan's Alley is a light gun shooting game where you distinguish targets in split-second scenarios. Cardboard cutouts pop up—some are armed criminals, others are bystanders holding everyday objects. Your job: shoot threats, ignore civilians. Miss a villain or hit an innocent person, and you lose points. Three modes vary the challenge: cutouts appear in windows, targets slide across a shooting range, or you face timed decisions in an urban environment. Reaction speed matters more than accuracy alone since hesitation costs you. The game tests pattern recognition under pressure—you're reading silhouettes and context clues (gun vs. bottle, hostile stance vs. neutral posture) in fractions of a second. Simple premise, but the margin for error stays thin throughout.
