Ikari Warriors

Ikari Warriors is a vertically scrolling shooter where you advance through hostile terrain on foot. You'll cross jungles, rivers, and ruins while fighting waves of enemies. The game lets you pick up different weapons as you progress—machine guns for sustained fire, grenades for clusters of troops, and rocket launchers for heavier targets. It supports two-player co-op, so you can tackle the campaign with a friend. The perspective stays locked to top-down vertical scrolling throughout. Expect constant combat with limited cover and a focus on weapon management as your arsenal shifts based on what you find. This one's built for players who like arcade-style action without much downtime between firefights.
