ISS Pro Evolution 2 marks a significant milestone in the ISS Pro series, being the fourth installment and the second in the Pro Evolution branch. Exclusively developed for the PlayStation by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo, this game brought a more authentic football experience to players in Europe and Japan, while North America saw the release of ESPN MLS GameNight instead. It boasts the series' first proper licensing, featuring real player names, and expands its Master League with an impressive array of twenty-four club teams, including renowned clubs like Leeds United and Boca Juniors. Gameplay enhancements render a smoother and more realistic soccer experience, which fans eagerly embraced. The Japanese version also stands out by including Under-23 National Teams, a feature absent in its European counterpart. Overall, ISS Pro Evolution 2 offers a compelling blend of enhanced gameplay and a wider selection of teams.
