Kerbal Space Program is a spacecraft construction and flight simulator where you build rockets from modular parts and attempt to get small green astronauts into space without killing them. You'll snap together fuel tanks, engines, command pods, and landing gear, then launch your creation to see if it reaches orbit or explodes on the pad. The physics are realistic—thrust, drag, gravity, and orbital mechanics all matter. Successful missions let you explore moons and planets in the Kerbol system, planting flags or establishing bases. Failures are frequent and often spectacular. Career mode adds budgets and contracts; sandbox mode removes all restrictions. It's for players who enjoy tinkering with designs, learning through trial and error, and don't mind watching their carefully-built rockets cartwheel into the ground because they forgot struts.
