You'll assign governors to provinces, recruit and position armies on a continental map, negotiate treaties, and send spies to disrupt rivals. When armies clash, you can auto-resolve or jump into RTS battles to command units directly. The court system lets you appoint marshals, merchants, and clerics who each unlock different strategic options—military campaigns, trade routes, or religious influence. Provinces generate resources you funnel into expansion or defense. Diplomacy includes marriages, alliances, and vassalage. Victory conditions aren't prescribed; you decide whether to unify the continent through conquest, accumulate wealth via trade, or survive as a small but stable realm.
