Little Nightmares
Puzzle-platformer with horror elements where you guide Six, a small child in a yellow raincoat, through an underwater iron vessel called the Maw. You'll sneak past grotesque oversized inhabitants, solve environmental puzzles using objects like keys and levers, and navigate disturbing rooms filled with dangers. The game emphasizes stealth over combat—Six can't fight back, so timing and hiding are essential. Perspective shifts and lighting create unease as you move through kitchens, guest quarters, and other claustrophobic spaces. Death comes quickly if spotted. Hunger mechanics drive Six forward, adding urgency to her escape. The art direction leans heavily into body horror and distorted proportions. Runs about four hours for a first playthrough. Works well if you want dread without jump scares.
