Little Town Hero

Turn-based RPG built around boss fights only—no grinding through random encounters. Set in a walled village where residents aren't permitted to leave, you play a teen who discovers a red stone that lets him battle mysterious creatures no one knew existed. Combat centers on generating and deploying "Ideas" mid-fight rather than standard attack commands, forcing you to adapt tactics for each unique monster. Story unfolds over a compact series of these one-on-one battles as you uncover why the stones and monsters appeared. Music comes from Toby Fox. The setup trades exploration and loot for puzzle-like encounters where the wrong strategy ends the fight fast. Works if you prefer brainteasers over stat management.
