Lost in Random is a dice-based action-adventure where combat and progression hinge on literal rolls. You're Even, searching for your sister across a kingdom split into six realms—each named for a die face (Onecroft, Threedom, etc.)—where a mad Queen forces kids to roll a black die at age twelve to decide where they'll live forever. Combat freezes into a board-game state: you collect energy from enemies, spend it on cards, then roll your companion Dicey to activate those cards' effects—summoning weapons, bombs, or buffs. Exploration mixes Tim Burton-esque visuals with NPCs whose lives reflect their realm's number. The story's linear but branches through six distinct zones, each with its own aesthetic and minigames. If you want action-RPG mechanics filtered through tabletop randomness and a storybook art style, this delivers that specific hybrid.
