About

A turn-based RPG with dungeon puzzles baked into progression. You control Maxim's ancestor hunting down the Sinistrals—super-powered humans causing havoc—alongside Iris and other recruits. Combat uses traditional menu-driven turns, but dungeons demand puzzle-solving with specific items and tools to advance through rooms. The Capsule Monsters system lets you feed items to summoned creatures, evolving them for combat. Enemies appear on-screen rather than triggering random battles, so you can dodge or engage. Dungeons lean heavily on environmental puzzles: pushing blocks, using hooks and bombs, timing switches. It's a prequel set ninety-nine years before the first game, explaining how the Sinistral conflict began. Suits players who want JRPG combat mixed with Zelda-style dungeon logic.
