Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

You'll play through skiing, figure skating, curling, and other cold-weather competitions using either the Wii Remote Plus or the GamePad. Each event adapts motion controls differently—curling uses the GamePad's touchscreen for strategy, while skiing leans on tilt mechanics. Characters bring their franchise abilities into realistic sport frameworks, so Sonic's speed or Mario's jumping affects how events play out. Sochi serves as the setting, though this is about the sport variety more than location. Supports local multiplayer for head-to-head matches across the event roster. This was the only entry in the series without a handheld version running alongside it.
