Memories of a Vagabond is a turn-based RPG where you play a mercenary hunting those who killed your fiancée and her family. The hook: when you die, there's no game over. Instead, your soul transfers to a new body in a different class—warrior, assassin, mage, hunter, or others. Each body retains techniques mastered in previous lives, so a warrior's sword skill can carry into a mage's repertoire. This creates hybrid builds as you stack abilities across multiple incarnations. The story involves manipulating past events while recruiting allies along the way. Combat follows classic JRPG structure with menu-driven turns. The soul-transfer system means death is a mechanic rather than a failure state, and experimenting with class combinations is central to progression.
