Mercs

Mercs is a run-and-gun shooter where you control Wolf Force operatives extracting a former president from Zutula, a fictional African nation in political upheaval. You fight through six main levels plus a final rescue aboard a Hercules transport. The arsenal spans machine guns, shotguns, flame throwers, and grenade launchers—all based on real-world hardware. Some missions let you commandeer vehicles instead of proceeding on foot. It's a straightforward action game: move, shoot, survive, extract. The covert-ops framing gives context to the firefights, but moment-to-moment you're managing ammo types and dodging incoming fire. If you want arcade shooting with military hardware and the occasional tank, this delivers that without much fuss.
