Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Stealth-action game where you avoid guards, use gadgets to create distractions, and face boss encounters across two operations. You start as Snake infiltrating a tanker on the Hudson River to investigate a new Metal Gear prototype, but Russian mercenaries complicate things. The campaign then shifts to Raiden, a rookie operative sent to rescue the U.S. President from terrorists holding him at Big Shell, an offshore facility. The expanded cover system lets you duck behind objects and lean out to fire, while enemies now use the same tactics against you. Missions involve sneaking through patrols, disabling security systems, and sorting allies from liars as the story layers deception upon deception. Expect long codec conversations and a plot that questions what's real.
