Third-person action game where bounty hunter Samus Aran explores a derelict space station, switching between perspectives mid-combat. You hold the Wii Remote sideways for standard play—jumping, shooting, morphing into a ball to reach tight spaces. Point at the screen and it snaps to first-person for missile locks, but you're rooted in place. The catch: enemies often force rapid mode-switching, like clearing airborne threats in third-person then pivoting to first-person to destroy their spawn points. New to the series is melee combat—timed button presses let you dodge attacks with Sense Move or leap onto foes for point-blank charged shots. Heavy on cutscenes and voice acting compared to earlier entries. Set between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion, following Samus as she works alongside a Galactic Federation squad led by her former CO.
