Side-scrolling beat-'em-up for one or two players, letting you fight as Rangers on foot or pilot their giant Zords depending on the stage. Six levels mix scenes from the 1995 film with three episodes from the show's second season—covering the White Ranger's debut, ninja powers, and a roster swap. You pick from nine Rangers total: the movie's core team plus Jason, Zach, and Trini (though audio limitations mean their voice clips got swapped with their replacements). Fight Putty Patrol grunts and Lord Zedd's forces, then take control of the Thunder Megazord or Mega Tigerzord for boss fights against renamed Sentinel enemies. Digitized cutscenes pull from both film and TV footage. Hikoshi Hashimoto's soundtrack reworks Ron Wasserman's TV themes into hard rock arrangements, giving familiar melodies a heavier edge.
