Monster Hunter Rise

Hunt and carve up oversized creatures across varied ecosystems in this action RPG. You pick from 14 weapon types—each with distinct movesets—then track monsters, break their parts mid-fight, and craft gear from the loot. Set in Kamura Village, a settlement bracing for a new monster threat decades after the last disaster. The Wirebug mechanic lets you grapple vertically through maps and pull off aerial attacks. Palamutes (rideable hound companions) speed up traversal between zones. Hunts follow a loop: accept quest, gather intel, engage the target, exploit weaknesses, capture or slay, upgrade equipment. Solo or four-player co-op. Expect 15-minute skirmishes that reward pattern recognition and loadout prep. Suits players who enjoy boss-rush combat with a crafting backbone.
