My Summer Car

My Summer Car is a car-building simulator with survival mechanics and permadeath. You're given hundreds of individual parts—engine components, body panels, bolts—and must assemble a functional vehicle from scratch. The game doesn't hand you a checklist; you'll need to figure out what connects where, tune the engine once it's together, and maintain everything as parts wear down. Between wrenching sessions, you're managing your character's needs in a Finnish countryside setting. Death is permanent, so a bad crash or neglecting your health means starting over. It's granular enough that you're installing pistons and adjusting carburetors, not just clicking 'build car.' Appeals to players who want mechanical depth over convenience.
