NBA 2K24 is a basketball sim covering NBA and WNBA teams with several modes targeting different play styles. MyPLAYER lets you build a custom athlete from scratch, tweaking appearance and skills as you progress. MyTEAM functions as a card-collecting mode where you draft rosters mixing current stars and retired legends, then take them into matches. MyNBA puts you in the front office as GM or Commissioner—you handle trades, draft picks, and franchise-level decisions that ripple across seasons. The game uses motion-captured animations for player movement and shooting. If you want on-court action, roster management, or both, the mode variety accommodates that.
