NBA Jam 99 is an arcade-style basketball game with a 300+ player roster featuring scanned faces and team-specific playbooks—the Bulls run their triangle offense, for instance. The signature Jam mode lets you pull off over-the-top dunks in 5-on-5 matches, while the franchise side lets you trade, draft, and release players across real NBA schedules. You can customize rosters and uniforms or stick with official lineups. Bill Walton and Kevin Harlan call the action. Motion capture from Keith Van Horn drives the player animations. It's less simulation, more high-flying spectacle with enough roster depth to keep matchups varied.
