Orbital Gear

Orbital Gear is a sidescrolling mech shooter built around momentum physics—you slingshot around planets and asteroids using their gravity to accelerate through space combat. You pick two weapons from a pool of twelve to outfit your mech, then fight other players in zero-g arenas. Standard deathmatch is available, but the main mode is Orbital Warfare: team-based matches where you're trying to wreck the enemy base. You can win by direct assault or by collecting energy cores from killed opponents to charge a doomsday weapon. The hook is mastering gravitational pulls to control your speed and angle of attack while managing your loadout. It's 3D-rendered but plays on a 2D plane, so positioning and timing matter more than raw aim.
