P.O.W.: Prisoners of War
Side-scrolling beat 'em up where one or two players control escaped POWs fighting through four stages to freedom. You're Snake (blue) or Bart (red), punching and kicking through a POW camp, jungle, and enemy base in Cuba. Combat uses an eight-way joystick plus three buttons—standard strikes, jumps, and three distinct special moves that drain health but hit harder. Enemies range from basic soldiers to tougher commandos. You'll grab weapons mid-fight: throwing knives for ranged pokes, machine guns for suppression. Two-player co-op lets you coordinate attacks and revive each other. Stages scroll left-to-right with occasional vertical sections. Lose all health and you're done unless your partner's still standing. Straightforward arcade brawler for fans of no-frills combat and couch co-op.
