Phasmophobia
Phasmophobia is a co-op ghost-hunting game for up to four players. You're hired to investigate haunted locations and identify the ghost type using equipment like EMF readers, spirit boxes, and thermometers. One player can stay in a van monitoring cameras and sensors while others search the building for evidence. Ghosts respond to your voice through your microphone—saying their name or asking questions can trigger activity, but also anger them. As investigations progress, spirits become more aggressive, turning lights off and hunting players directly. Success requires coordinating evidence collection before the ghost kills your team. Maps range from small houses to sprawling asylums. The game doesn't hold your hand: you'll need to learn which evidence combinations identify each of the dozen-plus ghost types. Works solo, but it's built for friends who don't mind actual scares.
