Pokémon X

Turn-based RPG where you catch, train, and battle creatures across a new region rendered in 3D for the first time in the main series. You'll build a team from a fresh roster of species, each with distinct types and abilities that determine strengths and weaknesses in combat. Battles play out on polygonal arenas with camera angles that shift during attacks. Between fights, you explore towns and routes from an adjustable perspective, encountering wild creatures in tall grass and challenging other trainers. The loop: catch new team members, level them through battles, evolve stronger forms, and work toward becoming the regional champion. Marks the series' jump from 2D sprites to full 3D models.
