Qbasic Gorillas

Turn-based artillery shooter where two gorillas stand on skyscraper rooftops and hurl explosive bananas at each other. You set angle and velocity for each throw, factoring in gravity to arc your projectile over the cityscape. Miss, and the banana detonates harmlessly against a building or sails past; hit, and your opponent goes down in a pixelated blast. Matches play out in quick rounds—adjust your aim based on the last throw's result, then watch the banana fly. The 2D cityscape changes each game, so memorizing trajectories won't help. It's physics puzzling with a comedic premise, best played against a friend taking turns at the keyboard. Fans of Scorched Earth or Worms will recognize the formula, though this predates both.
