Arcade racer with 40 cars and 22 tracks, each drivable forward, backward, and mirrored. You're drifting through courses at 60fps in 1080p, chasing lap times across layouts pulled from earlier series entries. Online multiplayer lets you race others over PlayStation Network at no extra cost. The handling prioritizes powerslides over simulation physics—hold drifts to build boost, then burn it on straights. Dolby 5.1 audio handles engine notes and tire squeal. A 2010 patch added stereoscopic 3D support if you've got the display for it. Reiko Nagase appears in the intro cutscene.
