Romancing SaGa 2

Romancing SaGa 2 is a dynasty-spanning RPG where you don't play one hero—you play a bloodline. You start as King Leon of Avalon, then shift to his son Gellard, then choose successors from four heirs at each generation's end. Who shows up as an heir depends partly on chance and partly on who you've helped or allied with in previous reigns. Each new ruler inherits abilities from their predecessor, building a cumulative skill set across centuries. The hook: your choices echo forward. Assist a merchant in generation two, and their descendant might become your fourth-generation emperor. It's less about grinding one character and more about strategic succession planning across multiple lifetimes.
