Sanctum

Sanctum blends tower defense with FPS combat. You're Skye, a soldier defending against alien attacks across a handful of distinct maps. Between waves, you place and upgrade defensive structures—turrets, walls, barriers—to funnel and damage enemies. When the assault begins, you grab your weapon and fight alongside your towers, shooting anything that slips through. Success depends on both smart placement during the build phase and accurate shooting when things go live. The maps force different strategies since terrain varies. It's tower defense where you don't just watch—you're part of the defense grid, plugging gaps your structures can't cover. Works for players who want strategic planning but also direct control when the plan falls apart.
