Scribblenauts

Scribblenauts is a puzzle game where you type words to spawn objects that solve challenges. Each level presents a goal—usually collecting a star called the Starlite—and you conjure solutions by writing nouns. Type 'ladder' and a ladder appears. Type 'helicopter' and you fly. The game recognizes thousands of words, from mundane tools to dinosaurs to fictional characters. Most puzzles accept multiple approaches: you might use a rope, a jetpack, or a trampoline for the same vertical obstacle. The stylus-based interface (this debuted on Nintendo DS) lets you drag spawned items around. Creativity matters more than reflexes.
