Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis is a point-and-click adventure splitting its story between two playable characters. Nina teams up with a priest in France to investigate a secret society called Puritas Cordis and its leader, while her ex Max observes the group's activities at an Indonesian temple excavation. The game alternates between their perspectives as they uncover connections between ancient prophecies and a looming threat. Expect classic adventure game puzzles, inventory management, and dialogue trees as you piece together what Puritas Cordis is planning. The dual-protagonist structure means you'll switch locations and objectives frequently, moving between European settings and Southeast Asian archaeological sites. If you like story-driven adventures with globe-trotting plots and conspiracy themes, this delivers that without requiring action reflexes.
