Sifu is a kung fu brawler where you hunt down five assassins who killed your teacher. Combat hinges on precise parries, dodges, and position-based strikes—button-mashing gets you killed fast. The hook: each death ages you. Die at 20, resurrect at 21. Die again, you're 23. Hit 70 and it's permanent game over. This forces you to master encounters through repetition, learning enemy patterns until you can clear entire floors without taking a hit. Levels span a nightclub, museum, office tower, and other urban settings you fight through in real time. Unlockable moves and shortcuts carry between runs, so early deaths teach you combos that let you breeze past trouble spots later. It's demanding—expect to replay sections dozens of times—but that's the point.
